Four -time world champion in Formula 1 class, Max Ferstappen won the debut race of the Nürburgring Langstrecken -Serie (NLS) championship in the GT3 class.

The Dutch pilot and his partner Chris Lulham won the Ferrari 296 GT3 on the Nurburgring highway (Germany).

Vermstappen remained driving the car for two hours, taking on the first two segments of the race, and then transferred control of his partner on the command of VerstAppen.com Racing to Lulham for the last couple of hours of the race. At that time, the advantage of the team over the nearest pursuer was 1 minute 10 seconds.

As a result, the Round of 28 circles was won by the crew of the Ferestappen -Lulham team with a margin of more than 20 seconds from second place.

This is the first official Vermstappen race in the series, previously the Dutch pilot participated in the GT3 tests under the pseudonym Franz Hermann.

The next stage of the Formula 1 championship will be held from October 3 to 5 in Singapore.
