Both riders of the Williams team speaking in Formula 1 are disqualified following the qualification of the Grand Prix Singapore, the FIA ​​press service reports.

Pilots Alexander Albon and Carlos Sayns, who took the 12th and 13th places in qualification, will be forced to start at the Grand Prix from the 19th and 20th positions – the last places of the starting grill.

Their results are canceled due to a technical violation. On both pains of Williams, the DRS clearance width exceeded the maximum permissible value of 85 mm. The team recognized the violation and agreed with penalties.

The qualifications were won by the Mercedes pilot George Russell, the second was the four -time world champion Max Vertappen (Red Bull), the third was the leader of the general offset of the championship Oscar Piasta (McLaren).

The Grand Prix of Singapore will take place on Sunday and will begin at 15:00 Moscow time.
