Verstappen won the Formula 1 US Grand Prix ahead of Norris and Leclerc
Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won the Formula 1 US Grand Prix in Austin.
Verstappen started from pole position. The reigning world champion won his fifth victory of the season.
The Briton Lando Norris from McLaren finished second (lag – +7.959 seconds), the top three was closed by Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc (+15.373) from Monaco.
Oscar Piastri (McLaren) leads the drivers’ standings with 346 points, Norris is second (332), Verstappen is third (306).
The next stage of the World Championship will be held in Mexico on October 24–26.
