Leclerc showed the best time in the first practice of the Mexican Grand Prix
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc showed the best time in the first free practice session at the Formula 1 stage in Mexico.
In his fastest attempt, the Monegasque completed the lap in 1 minute 18.380 seconds. The second place was taken by the Italian Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli (+0.107), the top 3 was completed by the German Nico Hulkenberg (Kick Sauber, +0.380).
Max Verstappen (Red Bull), Lando Norris (McLaren), Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari), George Russell (Mercedes), Oliver Berman (Haas), Carlos Sainz (Williams), Lance Stroll (Aston) missed the first practice of the Grand Prix. Martin”), Pierre Gasly (Alpin) and Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls). Experienced pilots temporarily gave up the cars to nine reservists.
The racing weekend will continue with the second free practice session, training will take place on Saturday night Moscow time (starts at 1:00).
