Norris won qualifying for the Mexican Grand Prix, season leader Piastri showed the eighth time

McLaren team driver Lando Norris won qualifying for the Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix, which ended at the Rodriguez Brothers Autodromo in Mexico City.

Norris was ahead of Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, who set the second and third fastest times of the day. Championship leader Oscar Piastri (McLaren) will start from eighth position.

The Grand Prix will take place on Sunday.

In the individual championship standings, Norris takes second place (332 points) after 19 stages. Piastri is in the lead (346), Red Bull’s Max Verstappen is in third (306).
