Verstappen became the highest paid Formula 1 driver in 2025, champion Norris rounded out the top 3

Max Verstappen became the highest paid Formula 1 driver in 2025, Forbes reports.
During the season, the 28-year-old Red Bull driver from the Netherlands earned $76 million, of which $65 million was salary and $11 million in bonuses.
Second on this list is seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. During his debut season at Ferrari, the 40-year-old Briton earned 70.5 million, of which the bonus amounted to 500 thousand. Hamilton had the worst year of his career and missed out on the Grand Prix podium for the first time this season.
Third place on the list was taken by 2025 world champion Lando Norris (57.5 million) from McLaren. With a salary of 18 million, the British pilot received a large bonus of 39.5 million for his first title.
