Former Formula 1 driver says he can beat Verstappen

Former Formula 1 driver Jean-Eric Vergne, who now competes in Formula E, has expressed confidence that he will beat the reigning world champion Max Verstappen, but subject to rivalry in the electric series of races.
“I’ll tell you what: if I were against him in Formula 1, I’ll be completely honest with you – I can’t beat him. He’s clearly at the top there. But if Max comes to Formula E, he won’t be invincible. I can bet anything. I think I’m the best! — quotes the words of Vergne Formula1News.co.
Vergne is a two-time world champion in Formula E.
