Alpha Tauri announced that Gasly will remain in the team for 2023

The French racer of Alpha Tauri Pierre Gasly will retain his place as a combat pilot for the 2023 season, the press service of the team reports.
– Pierre is definitely one of the best and most competitive drivers of modern Formula 1. He has proven his ability in all his time with us. Undoubtedly, Pierre can play an important role in the success of the team next year, and we must provide him with a competitive car so that he can continue to show excellent results, – said the head of the team Franz Tost.
Gasly stands for Alpha Tauri paired with the Japanese Yuki Tsunoda. In the personal standings this season, the 26-year-old Frenchman is in 11th place (16 points).
During his career in Formula 1, Gasly won once at the stage (Italian Grand Prix 2020).
