Sporting has secured the transfer of Australian winger Nestory Irankunda for 15 million euros after weeks of uncertainty regarding his future.
The 20-year-old player is expected in Lisbon at any moment to undergo medical tests and finalize the official announcement. He will sign a five-year contract with the club that includes an 80 million euro release clause.
Capable of playing on both corridors, the winger provides options across the attacking line.
Irankunda performed well at the World Cup, where he scored a goal.
