Real Madrid will face Deportivo de La Coruña in the Teresa Herrera Trophy on Wednesday without Kylian Mbappé and several new summer signings. Manager Jose Mourinho published the squad list on Tuesday following the team's final pre-season training session in Madrid.

New signings Marc Cucurella, Yan Diomande, and Ibrahima Konaté will not make their Real Madrid debuts in the match. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who rejoined training over the weekend, and forward Kylian Mbappé, who arrived on Monday, are also out after returning from the World Cup.
The team started Tuesday's training session with activation drills, running, and rondos on the grass. The players then carried out pressing and possession exercises with finishing into goals before ending with small-sided matches, according to the club.
Midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni trained inside the club facilities due to physical discomfort. Injured players Raúl Asencio, Ferland Mendy, Éder Militão, and Rodrygo Goes also stayed indoors to continue their recovery processes.
Pre-season history and schedule
With multiple first-team stars unavailable, Portuguese manager José Mourinho has turned to Real Madrid's youth academy to complete the matchday squad. The clash against Deportivo will be the team's third pre-season friendly, following a 2-2 draw against Fiorentina and a 1-2 match against Ferencvaros.
Real Madrid last played in the Teresa Herrera Trophy in 2013. The club has won the tournament nine times, taking the title in 1949, 1953, 1966, 1976, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1994, and 2013.
