Federer and Nadal will play with the Spaniard again to look ahead and not hide it
Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal will play together again in the Laver Cup and the Spaniard seemed looking forward to this meeting.
Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal have confirmed their participation in this year’s Laver Cup, which will take place in London on September 23-25.
After 2017 in Prague and 2019 in Geneva, the two “eternals” will join forces for the third time for the European team.
This is the 5th edition of the tournament, pitting Europe against players from the rest of the world, an idea born from the ‘legendary’ Ryder Cup, which pits the best European golfers against the best Americans.
Europe had emerged victorious from the previous four tournaments in Prague (2017), Chicago (2018), Geneva (2019) and Boston (2021). We remind you that at last year’s event, the European team played for the first time in the institution without the Big 3.
A few hours after formalizing their joint presence, Rafael Nadal wrote on Twitter: “Roger, have you closed the court for practice or should I do it? I can’t wait to play together again my friend”.

Four Ukrainian tennis players were included in the doubles entry list Australian Open 2025.
Ukrainian women will play in the doubles tournament on the courts of Melbourne: Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya, Lyudmila Kichenok and Nadezhda Kichenok. Unfortunately, there will be no all-Ukrainian tandem in Australia.
Kostyuk will perform alongside Elena-Gabriela Ruse at the Aus Open, and Yastremskaya will play alongside Alisha Parks.
Lyudmila and Nadezhda will not play together at AO-2026, although they will start the season with the same duet in the Brisbane 500 meters. It was announced that Lyudmila will be with Katie Volynets, and Nadezhda will be with Makoto Ninomiya.
Australian Open 2026 will take place from January 12 to February 1. Elina Svitolina, Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya and Alexandra Oleynikova will represent Ukraine in singles. Yulia Starodubtseva, Angelina Kalinina, Daria Snigur and Vitaly Sachko will perform in the eliminations.

Russian Karen Khachanov moved from 18th to 17th place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), a new version of which was published on the organization’s website.
