Medvedev lost to Kirios and will not be able to defend the US Open title

Daniil Medvedev failed to overcome the fourth round at the US Open. The Russian tennis player lost to the Australian Nick Kirios in four games.
The match lasted almost three hours, during which Medvedev filed 22 times right through, but gave up five games on his balls.
Kirios defeated Medvedev for the fourth time in his career. In early August, Daniel lost to the Australian in Montreal.
Medvedev became the champion of the US Open last year.
In the quarterfinals, the Australian will play with Russian Karen Khachanov.
