The WTA Finals will not be held in China again this year as the organizing authority is moving it to Texas.

The WTA finals will not be held in China for another year, so the organizer is moving the last major tournament of the year to the USA and specifically to Texas, as the local newspaper Fort Worth Star-Telegram confirmed.

The games will be played at Dickies Arena, a 14,000-seat stadium, with tickets going on sale over the next 7 to 14 days, the newspaper said.

We remind you that the first 8 of the special classification of the race have the right to take part in the WTA Finals and we hope that there will also be interest from Greece, since Maria Sakkari is in 7th place.

The Greek tennis player made her debut at the event last year, where she reached the semi-finals. If she doesn’t make it to the finals this year, 660 points will be deducted from her WTA rankings.
