Swiatek advances to US Open 2022 semi-finals Polka is back in shape
In the 1/4 final of the US Open 2022, the world’s 1st racket Iga Sventek (Poland) defeated jessica pegula (USA, WTA 8) in two sets of 1 hour 55 minutes.

In the 1st set, Iga lost 2:3*, but managed to get 4 games in a row. In game 2, the game was even, the girls took a timeout and reached the tie-break where Iga was stronger.
Note that this year Sventek had an incredible 37-game winning streak, but later lost to Alize Cornet (France) at Wimbledon, then lost three more times: Caroline Garcia (France), Beatrice Haddad Maye (Brazil) and Madison Keys (USA) .
In the 1/2 final, Iga will play with Arina Sobolenko, who defeated Karolina Plishkova (Czech Republic) in turn.
