Davis Cup: Tsitsipas in the national team

Stefanos Tsitsipas will strengthen the tennis national team in the Davis Cup in the matches against Tunisia, which will take place on September 16th and 17th.

With Stefanos Tsitsipas a big star in their ranks, our men’s national tennis team is expected to travel to Tunis to play Tunisia in the games that will decide which of the two countries will qualify for the Davis Cup World Play- Group I offs

The games between Greece and Tunisia will be played on the two days of September 16-17 on hard ground and as it became known on Tuesday (6/9), Stefanos Tsitsipas is usually in our country’s mission.

Greece will notably travel with: Stefanos Tsitsipas, Michalis Pervolarakis, Petros Tsitsipas, Aristoteli Thanos and Alexandros Skorilas. National coach is Dimitris Hatzinikolaou, team leader is Apostolos Tsitsipas.

The Tunisian squad consists of: Skander Mansouri (No. 258), Aziz Dugaz (No. 352), Moez Eharjoui (No. 354), Aziz Ouaka (No. 463) and of course the country’s best player, Malek Jaziri.

The Tunisian, former No. 42 and currently No. 422 tennis player in the world, once a finalist in an ATP tournament (Istanbul, 2018), may be 38 years old but is still a very dangerous opponent for the Greeks.
