US Open: Ruud is KO’d and Berretini is kicked out
Casper Ruud won 3-0 sets against Matteo Berretini, reached the quarterfinals of the US Open and kept the dream of world number one ranking alive.
With a magical performance, Kasper Ruud defeated Matteo Berretini in straight sets in the first derby of the quarterfinals and advanced to the “4” best of the US Open to keep the dream of securing the world No. 1 ranking alive.
Now the Norwegian is two wins away from winning the first Grand Slam of his career and climbing to the top of the ATP table right after the New York Major.
Despite trailing 2-5 and 15-40 in the 3rd part of the match, Rudd came back from hell, made an epic turn to ‘close’ the match in three sets, against the… spirit of the Italian.

20-year-old American tennis player Lerner Tien (ATP 28) Became the winner of the ATP 2025 Junior Final Tournament.
The Americans were defeated in the final of the competition held on indoor courts in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). Alexander Blox (Belgium, ATP 116) 1 hour 1 minute.
