This was Nadal’s 18th victory in a personal match against Gasquet. The French can’t even get a set from the legendary Spaniard for 14 years.
Note that he won the 21st game in a row at the Grand Slam for Nadal. This year, Rafa won the Australian Open, Roland Garros and reached the semi-finals at Wimbledon, where he withdrew from a match with Nick Kyrgios due to abdominal problems.
Also, in the 1/8 final, the Spaniard is already waiting for Francis Tiafoe (USA, ATP 26). The match will not be earlier than 18:00 Kyiv time on September 5th.
