The men’s singles quarterfinals at the US Open took place.

On the second matchday of this stage, Francis Tiafoe continued his outstanding performance in the tournament, winning his fourth game in three sets.

In the evening session, Carlos Alcaraz and Yannick Sinner made an epic hack until 3am local time and the Spaniard turned out to be stronger.

Alcaraz will be world number one if they win the championship or make it to the finals and don’t face Kasper Ruud there. The situation is similar in Norway.
