An American tennis player in the 1/4 finals of the US Open 2022 francis tiafoe (ATR 26) beat the Russians Andrey Rublev (ATP 11) reached the first semi-finals of his career in three sets and at the Grand Slam tournaments.

The match ended after 2 hours and 40 minutes. Note that Francis never left his serve for the match. Starting Monday, Tiafoe enters the top 20.
Early in the 1/8 final, the American tennis player defeated the legendary Rafael Nadal (Spain, ATP 2).
Francis will then face the winner of the match between Carlos Alcaras (Spain, ATP 4) and Yannick Sinner (Italy, ATP 13) in the semifinals of the US Open.
