Alcaraz wins the US Open and will remove Medvedev from the first place in the world rankings
Carlos Alcaraz became the winner of the US Open, beating the Norwegian Kasper Ruud in the final in four games.
The match lasted 3 hours and 23 minutes. Alcaraz filed 14 times and took three games at the reception.
The 19-year-old Spaniard became the first teenager in history since Rafael Nadal to win a Grand Slam tournament. Rafa won the Roland Garros in 2005 at the age of 19 years and 2 days.
After this victory, Alcaraz will come out on top in the world rankings, replacing Russian Daniil Medvedev on the first line.
