“In Europe, no one will specially train you” – tennis player Kotov
Russian tennis player Pavel Kotov told why he does not intend to change his place of residence.
– Many people say that when training in Russia, it is impossible to play at a professional level. I can personally say that I have not trained abroad for a single week. I have always trained only in Russia: in the Bud Zdorov club for about 11 years. In my opinion, this is one of the best clubs in Russia: there are a lot of courts – 17. Of these, nine are hard indoor, eight are open, which have different surfaces: four hard and clay. In addition to the courts, there is a gym, a fitness room. There is not enough pool yet, but I hope it will be soon. I played tournaments in clubs in many places, so I have something to compare with.
The most important thing is that the workouts are for you. If you go to some ordinary European academy, then no one will specially train you there. Nobody will need you. There is no point in going. Accordingly, here I have everything adjusted to my problems, they train only what I need. This is the most important”, — quotes the words of Kotov “Championship”.
