Pele turned to Federer after the decision of the tennis player to end his career
The legendary Brazilian football player Pelé turned to the Swiss tennis player Roger Federer via social networks, who announced that he would retire in September.
— My dear friend, Roger Federer. The decision to stop doing what we love is always a difficult one. I can only imagine how difficult this day was for you. Your journey has been amazing,” Pele wrote.
Federer is a 20-time Grand Slam winner and 6-time ATP Finals singles winner, 2014 Davis Cup winner with the Swiss national team, and 2008 Olympic champion in men’s doubles. Roger won a total of 111 ATP tournaments (of which 103 were singles).
