Tsitsipas scored Greece 1-0 against Tunisia in the Davis Cup

Stefanos Tsitsipas did his duty against Aziz Dugaz as he prevailed 2-1 in the set for Greece over Tunisia in the Davis Cup to make it 1-0.

Stefanos Tsitsipas may have been battling for a set against world No. 355 Aziz Dugaz, but the Tunisian was no problem for the 24-year-old Greek tennis player, who conceded just two games in the 2nd set to finish 7-6 (3), 6:2 after 100 minutes of play.

With this victory, Greece opened an account in the duel with Tunisia and now leads 1-0 in the premiere of the matches in Tunis, while then follows the 2nd singles of the day with Skander Mansouri (No. 254) against Michalis Pervolarakis.

Tsitsipas finished the game with 78% of points won on the first serve and 68% on the second. Still, he struggled in the first leg of the game that went into a tie-break after previously missing two breaks.

It was easier in the 2nd set, Tsitsipas converted the 1: 2 into a 6: 2 and gave Greece their first win in a draw.
