The Davis Cup Quarterfinals

With Spain’s victory over South Korea on Sunday (September 18) and Germany’s victory over Australia in the big duel in Group C, the puzzle of the top 8 teams in this year’s Davis Cup is complete.

The Italians did the job for the… Croatians, defeating Sweden 2-1 and eliminating them, giving Borna Coric’s team the qualification.
Germany won a doubles tie for the third straight day, led by Tim Puig and Kevin Kravitz, and advanced first from Group 3, while Australia finished second despite Thanasis Kokkinakis’ singles victory.
