Sakkari’s program until the end of 2022

Maria Sakkari has an especially demanding schedule for the next month as she battles for her spot at the WTA Finals, which will be held in Texas, United States, during the week of October 31 – November 7.

While the Greek champion is currently in position to qualify for the WTA Finals, she will be competing in three tournaments until October 23 in order to rack up as many points as possible for the opportunity to compete in the top event be not to be missed 2nd year in a row.

Next week (26/9 – 1/10) the 27-year-old will start her strong season finale and compete in the 250 clay court tournament in Parma, Italy.

Immediately afterwards, back-to-back appearances at WTA events for Maria (3/10 – 9/10) as she will travel to the Czech Republic to compete in the 500 event in Ostrava where she actually reached the final last year.

Last scheduled tournament for Saqqara in 2022, the Guadalajara 1000, the week of 10/17 – 23.10., in Mexico.

If, after this tournament, she has secured her place in the WTA Finals, then she will immediately travel to the United States of America for the big date of the “8”, which will be held in Texas for the 1st time.
