Russian tennis player Lyudmila Samsonova defeated Chinese player Zheng Qingwen in the final of the WTA‑500 tournament in Tokyo.
Samsonova defeated her opponent in two sets with a score of 7:5, 7:5. Tennis players spent 2 hours and 7 minutes on the court.
Samsonova is 23 years old and ranks 30th in the WTA rankings. For the Russian woman, this is the fourth victory in her career in singles.
