(London) Felix Auger-Aliassime and Jack Sock came from behind to defeat Andy Murray and Matteo Berrettini 2-6, 6-3, 10-8 in the final Laver Cup doubles match on Sunday, reducing the deficit of the international team against the European team at 8-7.
Murray, who has three Grand Slam titles, received treatment after cutting his right leg in the loss.
The three-day tag team competition founded by Roger Federer’s management company is due to end with the final three singles matches, including Auger-Aliassime, who returns to the court to face Serbian Novak Djokovic, holder of 21 Grand Slam titles.
Victories are worth three points each on Sunday; the first team to 13 will win.
