Djokovic: Federer’s farewell match is one of the best moments in tennis
Former world ranking leader Novak Djokovic shared his views on the departure of tennis player Roger Federer.
“I have great respect for Roger, considering how much he has done for our sport. He had an epic career, he can be proud of it. Federer has become one of the most recognizable athletes in history. His passing is a sad moment.
I think we can all agree: the goodbye match and parting were some of the best moments in tennis.
I have mixed feelings about his match. It was sad when one of the greatest players in history left the sport. But at the same time, I saw that he was happy. It was great to be with him.”
