Andy Murray: ‘I don’t deserve a goodbye like Federer’
old world number one Andy Murray (Great Britain) commented on his retirement:
“I certainly won’t and I don’t deserve a farewell retirement like Roger Federer. He’s still competing and feeling good physically against the best players.”
Note that he previously played the last game of Roger Federer’s career. He did this in a doubles match with Rafael Nadal, where he played for the European team alongside Andy Murray and other players.
“I certainly don’t deserve and don’t deserve a send-off like Roger Federer. I still play competitive tennis and feel physically good against the best players.”
