Ukrainian beach tennis team to play at European Championship for the first time

Ukrainian beach tennis team He will make his debut at the 2022 European Championship, which will be held on the Greek island of Crete from September 29 to October 2. Competitions will be held in men’s, women’s and mixed doubles.

In the Ukrainian national team there were athletes: Dmitry Girich, Bogdan Girich, Bogdan Levchuk, Mikhail Radchenko, Ekaterina Egoreichenko, Elena Kirpot, Vlada Filinskaya, Alina Eroshenko, captain Sergei Sinichkin.

The European Beach Tennis Championships are part of the ITF Beach Tennis Tour. First played as a team tournament in 2007, the event increases in scale every year, with more than 100 players regularly participating in the competition.
In addition to Ukraine, 18 participating countries were announced at the tournament this year: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, France, Germany, England, Greece (host country), Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, San Marino , Slovakia , Slovenia. , Spain, Switzerland.
