The Ukrainian tennis player took a set from the 7th racket of the world, but lost the match.
Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Beindl (WTA 124) lost to Maria Sakkari (Greece, WTA 7) in the 1/16 final of the WTA 250 series clay tournament in Parma (Italy).

Note that the Ukrainian player scored 3 set points in the 12th game in the first set, but managed to keep the game going and win the tie-break. Also, unfortunately, Sakkari bored the Ukrainian.
Previously, Katerina had qualified for this tournament.
