WTA ranking. Badosa returns to top 3, replacing Kontaveit

The women played two WTA tournaments last week. The larger one took place in Tokyo, the other in Seoul.

At the end of the week, there were a few changes in the top 10. Anette Kontaveit lost third place to Paula Badose, and Maria Sakkari and Arina Sobolenko were also swapped.

19-year-old Chinese Zheng Qinwen, who reached the finals of the tournament in Japan, entered the top 30.

As for the Ukrainians, all our top athletes either improved their position a little or remained in their previous positions.

In the Championship race, the top eight who qualify for the train to the WTA Finals remain the same.
