Roger Federer: “I lost a lot in two days, but everything is fine. The truth.”
Legendary Swiss tennis player Roger Federer He posted it on Instagram with a poignant caption:
“I lost a lot. I lost my last singles game. I lost my last doubles game. I lost my voice because I shouted and supported the team. I lost my last job as part of a team. I lost my job but I’m so happy. It’s real. I’m fine. The irony is that everyone thinks about the happy ending of the fairy tale, You know? And it ended for me in a way I never thought possible.”
Note that Federer played his last career match in doubles with Rafael Nadal in the Laver Cup.
