Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 6) is the fourth tennis player after Nadal, Alcarath and Rudd to mathematically qualify for the ATP Finals, which will be held in Turin on November 13-20.

The No. 6 in the world rankings and No. 4 in the ATP Race secured his 4th consecutive participation in the top event after winning the title on his first participation in 2019, followed by two eliminations in the groups (2020, 2021 ).

Last year, Tsitsipas only played one game in the season’s best-of-eight tournament as he struggled with an elbow injury and underwent surgery a few days later to fix the problem.

Stefanos’ participation in the ATP Finals became official on Friday (September 30th) after a combination of results, although he had “closed” much earlier, as Tennis24 had announced.

This year, the 24-year-old Greek champion has a record of 48-19 with two titles in Mallorca and Monte Carlo, but also three finals losses, two at Masters (Rome, Cincinnati) and one at ATP 500 (Rotterdam).

Next up in Turin is Daniil Medvedev, who has to fight for qualification as there is enough competition in places 5-7 with Rublev, Aliasim, Hurkacs and Fritz, while 8th place is occupied by Novak Djokovic, despite being quite is at the bottom of the list ( 15.).

Having won a Grand Slam during the year, Nole has secured his place in the ATP Finals as long as he finishes in the top 20 of the ATP race.
