The ninth racket of the world, Andrei Rublev, in an interview with the “Championship” compared the level of his chess game with the skills of Daniil Medvedev and Karen Khachanov.
I play chess, but not well. Everything depends on the mood. We play with the guys – with Karen (Khachanov) and Danya (Medvedev). Danya is probably smarter than everyone, but Karen now plays the most, he also has a coach who plays chess well, so he trained him in this matter. But the best, probably, is Danya. And in my case – no technique, no head, but the last time I beat everyone, – said Rublev.
Earlier, Rublev won in the second round of the tournament in Astana over the Chinese Zhang Chichen. In the quarterfinals, the Russian will face the Frenchman Adrian Mannarino.
