18-time USSR tennis champion Anna Dmitrieva commented on the defeat of Karen Khachanov in the quarterfinal match of the tournament in Astana against Novak Djokovic, noting the class of the Serb.
Djokovic won 6-4, 6-3.
– It’s a shame that Khachanov failed to win at least one set. Djokovic is Djokovic – he is good, and in good shape. He himself said: “I come to the tournament only to win.” I’m happy for Khachanov’s success at the US Open.
