“I expect that the match between Medvedev and Djokovic will be tense” – Kafelnikov
Former world No. 1 Yevgeny Kafelnikov is looking forward to a tense match between Daniil Medvedev and Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals of the ATP tournament in Astana.
In the quarterfinals, the Russian defeated the Spaniard Roberto Bautista-Aguta (6:1, 6:1), Djokovic was stronger than Karen Khachanov (6:4, 6:3).
– Medvedev and Djokovic have won three matches in the tournament – they are in good shape. For fans, this match is an event. I don’t expect anything but a tense and interesting match, ”Championship” quotes Kafelnikov.
The meeting between Medvedev and Djokovic will take place on Saturday, October 8th.
