After winning the title in Astana, Novak Djokovic has qualified for the tournament of the best “8” of the year for the 15th time in a row, which will be held in Turin for the second time in a row this year.

Novak Djokovic couldn’t miss the top tournament at the end of the season, the ATP Finals. By winning the title in Astana and collecting 500 points, the 35-year-old Serb mathematically secured his 15th consecutive qualification for the tournament of the “8” best of the year, which will be held this year for the second time in a row in Turin (13.- 20th November).

This made “Nole” the fifth tennis player to book a place for Torino, after Nadal, Alcarath, Rudd and Tsitsipas.

Djokovic’s efforts this year have not been easy at all as he has missed out on big and important tournaments due to his anti-vaccination status. The Serb didn’t play in either Australia or the United States, leaving him short of claiming more than 6,000 ATP points, and even the 2,000 he earned at Wimbledon didn’t count.

Despite the odds, the Serbian tennis great is back and looks very difficult to beat at the end of the season.

He already has back-to-back titles in Tel Aviv and Astana and it remains to be seen whether he will compete ahead of the Paris Masters and ATP Finals in Vienna or Basel.
