Maria Sakkari meets Donna Vekic (No. 77) of Croatia in her debut at the San Diego 500 tournament, and the two tennis players know each other very well.
After the Ostrava tournament, Maria Sakkari will take part in the San Diego 500 tournament and at her premiere she will find a tennis player by her side whom she knows well. This is Donna Vekic (No. 77) from Krostia, with whom the Greek tennis player has competed several times in doubles.
If Sakkari beats Vekic, she will find the winner of the match Karolina Pliskova (Czech Republic, No. 22) – Caroline Dolheid (USA, No. 32) in the round of 16.

Russian Karen Khachanov moved from 18th to 17th place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), a new version of which was published on the organization’s website.
The best among Russians remains Daniil Medvedev, located in 13th place, Andrei Rublev is 16th. There have been no changes in the top ten rankings: Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is in the lead, Italian Jannik Sinner is second, and German representative Alexander Zverev is in third.
