Kyrgios: ‘I don’t see myself playing tennis after 30, I’ll be at home in the Bahamas and do nothing’
Nick Kyrgios answered questions from his fans on Instagram, where he revealed, among other things, that he will hardly play tennis after 30.
Nick Kyrgios sees himself as a tennis pro for another three years, as the Australian himself revealed in a Q&A on Instagram.
The 27-year-old tennis player, who would be close to the top 10 if counting the 1200 points he amassed by attending the 2022 Wimbledon final, imagines being in the Bahamas after 30 and doing nothing like he characteristically said.
Kyrgios announced the Q&A to his 3.3 million Instagram followers, writing: “Make it interesting. Entertain me and I will do the same.” As he did…
When asked by a fan if he sees himself after 30 games, he said: “Honest? Probably not. I don’t want anyone to disturb me. I’ll probably be at home in the Bahamas doing nothing.”
It’s not the first time the Greek-Australian has questioned his future in tennis since he did the same thing about a month and a half ago during the American Open when he expressed his desire to return to his home country as soon as possible , from which he has been away for the last few months .
After all, Kyrgios, together with Djokovic, has played the fewest tournaments (13) in the top 50 in the world rankings, ranking number 21 in the world this week.
According to his schedule, Kyrgios will participate in two more tournaments before the end of the year, in Basel (24/10) and the Paris Masters (31/10).
He is currently in his hometown relaxing by playing basketball.
