On Saturday, October 22, the semi-finals of the closed hard tournament took place in Antwerp (Belgium).

US Open 2022 champion Dominik Thiem (Austria, ATP 132) lost in three tense sets Sebastian Corday (USA, ATP 36). Korda will play the final for the second week in a row. The previous Sunday, he lost in the championship game in the American Gijón (ATP 250). Overall, this will be Korda’s fourth final at Tour level. He became the champion in Parma (ATP 250) last May.

In another semi-final Felix Auger – Aliassime (Canada, ATP 10) defeated 36-year-old Richard Gasquet (France, ATP 82) in two tie-breaks. The Canadian won the ATP 250 tournament held in Florence last week. Felix has reached the final for the 12th time (fourth of the season) and will try to claim the third single trophy.

Korda and Auger-Aliassime will hold their third face-to-face meeting: last year the Canadian tennis player won the tournament in Acapulco, and this season the US representative took revenge on Estoril.
