Katarina ZAVATSKAYA: “I believe I will play great next year”
Ukrainian tennis player Katharina Zawatskaya He shared his views on his performance this season and talked about his plans for the future.
“It’s been such a training year for me, so I think I’m going to play great next year. I can’t say for sure, but I believe it. Yes, it is not easy for me anymore, I have such a rating that I have to play 25s. Here either accept your score or don’t play. I was close to the first hundred. I understand the level. It just takes a little time, patience and work.
I’m already looking forward to the next game in the Billie Jean King Cup. I had a very good experience in April. I played for the national team for the first time in a match. I don’t know if they’ll let me in this time, but I think I’ll be ready. Winning after losing meant a lot to me. I still remember that match, sometimes watching highlights on YouTube to remind myself that I can do it. I probably have a pretty tough year for all Ukrainians. But I had such a tough year in tennis that I don’t want to say I’m 320th in the standings. I don’t want to justify this with war. Yes, it continues. What can I do? I do my best, I help my relatives, and I help myself to be at a resource, ”the director said.
Last week, Katarina reached the 25,000th final in Portugal.
