After the Masters 1000 in Paris, tennis bids farewell to the 2022 season with ATP Finals in Turin. The year-end Masters brings together the eight best players in the world in a tournament where they will challenge each other for the trophy, 1,500 points and a major check that can reach a record $4,740,000.

Format of the ATP Finals in Turin 2022

The ATP Finals in Turin 2022 will have eight participants split into two four-player zones. Each will face the other three opponents in their group and the best two will advance to the semi-finals. The 1st of the Green will face the 2nd of the Red Group and the 2nd of the Green will go against the 1st of the Red Group. The winners will play in the final. In 2021, Alexander Zverev beat Daniil Medvedev in the title.

Where and when are the ATP Finals Turin 2022 being held?

    Four Ukrainian women will play doubles at the Australian Open 2026

    Four Ukrainian tennis players were included in the doubles entry list Australian Open 2025.

    Ukrainian women will play in the doubles tournament on the courts of Melbourne: Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya, Lyudmila Kichenok and Nadezhda Kichenok. Unfortunately, there will be no all-Ukrainian tandem in Australia.

    Kostyuk will perform alongside Elena-Gabriela Ruse at the Aus Open, and Yastremskaya will play alongside Alisha Parks.

    Lyudmila and Nadezhda will not play together at AO-2026, although they will start the season with the same duet in the Brisbane 500 meters. It was announced that Lyudmila will be with Katie Volynets, and Nadezhda will be with Makoto Ninomiya.

    Australian Open 2026 will take place from January 12 to February 1. Elina Svitolina, Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya and Alexandra Oleynikova will represent Ukraine in singles. Yulia Starodubtseva, Angelina Kalinina, Daria Snigur and Vitaly Sachko will perform in the eliminations.

    Khachanov moved up one place in the ATP rankings

    Russian Karen Khachanov moved from 18th to 17th place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), a new version of which was published on the organization’s website.

    The best among Russians remains Daniil Medvedev, located in 13th place, Andrei Rublev is 16th. There have been no changes in the top ten rankings: Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is in the lead, Italian Jannik Sinner is second, and German representative Alexander Zverev is in third.
