Former world number one and 21-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic (Serbia) released wine under a personalized brand.

The 2020 Chardonnay and Syrah are reportedly the first models to go on sale.

Note that in 2016 Djokovic and his family established a winery in Serbian Šumadija. The manager of the business is Novak’s uncle, Goran.

“There are many challenges, but as in everything else, we try to achieve the maximum in this one. Even Novak’s racket is not perfect, but it is still the best in the world,” said Goran Djokovic.

The first batch contains 8,500 bottles. It is stated that he plans to deliver twice as much next time. The winery has a design capacity of 60,000 liters and Djokovic does not intend to sell it only in Serbia.

By the way, the former leader of Ukrainian tennis Sergiy Stakhovsky also produces wines under the brand ACE by Stakhovsky.
