Sensations in Stockholm and Naples, a new trend from Auger-Aliassime
On Sunday, October 23, the final matches of the ATP 250 series tournaments took place in Stockholm (Sweden), Naples (Italy) and Antwerp (Belgium).
ATP 250 Stockholm. It’s tough indoors. End
Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece) [1] – Holger Rune (Denmark) [7] – 4:6, 4:6
Rune took her third ATP final and her second title: she won the championship in Munich (ATP 250) in May.
ATP 250 Naples. Hard. End
Lorenzo Musetti (Italy) [4] – Matteo Berrettini (Italy) [2] – 7:6 (7:5), 6:2
The Italian tennis player won the second of two ATP finals he played. In July, Musetti won the ATP 500 tournament in Hamburg where he was stronger than Carlos Alcaraz.
ATP 250 Antwerp. It’s tough indoors. End
Sebastian Korda (USA) – Felix Auger – Aliassime (Canada) [2] – 3:6, 4:6
This was Felix’s second trophy in a row. He attended the tournament in Florence last week. Note that in February 2022 Felix had no titles and his stats left much to be desired – 0:8 in the finals. But this year he has already won three trophies at the ATP level.
