The tournament owned by the Djokovic family will not be held in Serbia in 2023

The competition will be moved to Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the same time, the Djokovic family will continue to control and organize the tournament, and the 21-time Grand Slam champion George’s younger brother will remain as director.
This is done in order to be able to modernize the stadium in Belgrade. After that, Djokovic wants to upgrade the tournament to the ATP 500.
Earlier, details of the new tournament emerged from ATP and WTA.
Serbian Open organizers want to make the necessary renewals to apply for a Series 500 license, so the tournament has been temporarily relocated to Banja Luka.
