ITF and ATP Announce Davis Cup Collaboration
The International Tennis Federation (ITF), ATP and Kosmos Tennis today announced the formation of an unprecedented strategic alliance from 2023 to support the Davis Cup.
The new alliance aims at fruitful cooperation in the management and further development of the competitions. Among other things, he won two of the six seats on the ATP Davis Cup Committee. All stages of the Cup, including the qualifying tournaments, qualifying and final, will now be included in the official ATP calendar. It is believed that this will help top players better plan their performance schedule so that team performances do not become an additional burden for athletes.
Davis Cup matches will be played in weeks 5, 37 and 47. ATP also uses all opportunities for additional advertising of the tournament.
The 122-year history of the Tennis World Team Cup makes it the oldest international championship of all sports.

ATP number ten initially confirmed participation in Aus Open, then withdrew
24-year-old British tennis player Jack DraperThe national team, which ranks 10th in the ATP rankings, will not be able to play in the 2025 Australian Open.
This became known on December 26. Jack recorded a video message in which he stated that he will miss the Australian series completely:
“Unfortunately, my team and I have decided not to travel to Australia this year. This is a really difficult decision because the Australian Open is a Grand Slam event, one of the biggest tournaments in our sport.”
However, I had been suffering from a hand injury for a long time. I am in the final stages of my recovery and returning to the court so early for five-set matches does not seem like a wise decision for me and my tennis.
Of course, I have already experienced many failures. But this was the hardest and hardest I have ever experienced. I expect to be back racing and competing on the field in 2026. Thank you everyone for your support in 2025; This really means a lot to me. I hope to return to tour soon and compete at the highest level again,” Draper said.
Interestingly, Draper only announced that he would play at a major in Melbourne on the 24th of the same month.
Jack has been away from the Tour since late August, when he withdrew from his match against Zizou Bergs in the second round of the US Open, ending his season early.
