Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina In December, a traditional charity announced that it would hold an annual gala dinner to raise funds for war-affected Ukrainian families.
“I am hosting the first annual Gala Dinner at the Monaco Yacht Club on Friday, December 2, 2022.
This evening, the Prince of Monaco II. Funds transferred under Albert’s high patronage will be used to fund and continue programs initiated by my foundation, including the post-war restoration of Ukrainian tennis. Logistics and financial support to families badly affected by the war in Ukraine.
For me, this is an opportunity to remind everyone once again that the war is still going on. My goal is to gather Ukrainian fans, to find new friends and partners for my foundation. The team and I firmly believe in victory and are already considering the post-war renewal of the sports infrastructure. On Svitolina Instagram, young talents who fled the country due to the war should know that they will be coming home soon.
It is worth noting that last year a gala dinner was held in Kiev by the Svitolina Foundation.

The Russian-Kazakh duo Andrey Rublev/Elena Rybakina beat the representative of Monaco, Valentin Vachereau and Iga Szwiatek from Poland in the World Tennis Continental Cup match, which takes place in Shenzhen (China).
