Tsitsipas qualified comfortably for the ’16’ of the Paris Masters
Stefanos Tsitsipas easily won 2-0 sets against Daniel Evans in his Paris Masters debut to reach the third round of the tournament.
Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 5) had no significant problems against Briton and world No. 27 Daniel Evans, who won 6-3, 6-4 on his Rolex Paris Masters debut and had 58 wins of the season (58-21 ).
From the start of the game, Tsitsipas took control of the court, finding an early break in both sets and having a pretty good day with his service. He had no trouble hitting the two breaks and easily ending the game.
The world No. 5 finished the match with 28 winners and 14 unforced errors. He showed consistency on his serve, erasing the only break he was threatened with in set 1, winning 78% of points on 1st serve (31/40) but also 67% on the 2nd (12th). /18).
In the first set, the Greek tennis player found a break (2:0) in the Briton’s first service game, which he then redeemed with difficulty and erased Evans’ only break point (3:0). From then on, Tsitsipas held his serve loosely, making it easy to make it 1-0.
The same scenario was written in the 2nd set when Tsitsipas found another break in Evans’ first service game and made it 2-0 with a simple hold.
Without encountering any particular problems, Tsitsipas continued to make easy holds and threatened a new break more than the Brit, who even had to hit two difficult holds to stay “alive” in the game.
The match ended with another lovemaking from Tsitsipas, who qualified for the 3rd round where he will face Corentin Mouté and Cameron Norrie.
