In the early hours of Saturday, Sakkari and Zamper battled it out with the goal of securing first place in the group at the WTA Finals
On Saturday (5.11.) at 02:00 in the morning, Maria Sakkari will fight Ons Zambert for first place in the group in the semi-finals of the WTA Finals.
Maria Sakkari put on another great performance in Texas, defeating Arina Sambalenka 2-0 in sets and qualifying for the 2nd game of groups in the semifinals of this year’s WTA Finals.
The Greek champion’s next opponent is Ons Zamper, the two tennis players will face each other on Saturday night (5 November) at 2:00 a.m.
As long as Sakkari wins, they beat Zamper, they will finish 1st in their group and face 2nd in the other group. If they are defeated against Tunisia, they will be runners-up and play in the “4” with the 1st of the other group.
